My journey has taken me through a diverse range of experiences, all of which have shaped my perspective on health, work, and life. I began with a BS in biochemistry, a field that led me to work as a chemist for two pharmaceutical companies. From there, I transitioned into the health insurance industry, where I worked for Blue Cross and Blue Shield, and later into the medical equipment field within the sleep medicine industry. As I gained a closer look at the inner workings of America's healthcare system, I realized that the conventional corporate lifestyle was one with which I no longer resonated. I knew there was a better, more fulfilling way to live—one rooted in health, independence, and personal growth. Now, I am focused on living an authentic life that aligns with these values, dedicating my talents to causes that bring true fulfillment.

Growing up I learned quite a lot about construction. These skills would not only pay for my education, but they would be largely responsible for my independence and broadened perspective thereafter. I learned how conventional houses were built from the ground up. I learned their strengths and I learned their weaknesses. I have spent the last 12 years building, learning, experimenting, teaching and testing natural and alternative building methods for my own personal use. I believe homes can be built with less energy to consume less energy, yielding a more environmentally responsible product and a more fulfilling lifestyle for the inhabitants.
